If you don't put out those fires, and stop that woodsmoke
from ruining our New York State air quality we shall invade
the Province of Ontario and extinguish the fires ourselves.

There are some water bombers from Minnesota helping out I heard.Some of the Ontario fire crews are out fighting fires in Alberta.
9 fires burning in this area,a couple big ones.Probably Walleye getting smoked out by the fires in Quebec.
So far my traplines are not affected.
Should be able to get control of the ones here in the Cochrane district now with cooler weather coming.

I was up and heading to fish this morning before sunrise, and the full Moon was blood red from the smoke...I'm guessing?

It's weirdly hazy here in Central Ohio, because of the fires in Canada. The ridge top behind me is indistinct. Google maps shows the air quality as being poor, due to Canada, down into Mississippi.

Gives exact location of fires,size of the fire in Hectares and status,out of control,under control or being held or in the far north just observed.Also says when the fire started.

It got hazy last week. The weather man said, it was from the fires up there! That’s a long ways from here to boco’s.

We need to bring a massive lawsuit against Canada. Settlement will in include Canada having to pay for the next 5 years of EV cars, solar, and pride parades.

I don't know about Canada,,but most of the fires Kalifornia are the fault of liberal commie leaders not allowing proper forest management.(Oh no,,dont cut fire lanes,,,you might bruise a tree). Idiots.

It's smelling like I'm downwind of a campfire all day here in southeastern PA.

Same thing here in NW Pa.

I can see the smoke rolling by at ground level carried by the wind. It got thick enough I thought there was a brush fire in the area. My wife showed me pics from nearby towns all looking smokey. It's the smoke from Canada.

Well guys it won`t be over soon...we are only in June and everyone here is exposed to the same smoke....many have been evacuated and some have lost everything.... good luck with the lawsuit, let us know how it works out for you.

It got pretty thick earlier this week, all sorts of air quality alerts issued and a bunch of outdoor activities cancelled. It began to clear up Thursday and yesterday was a nice, clear day.
