Well, I ate a lot of beans yesterday, so I am contributing to emissions plenty without even including the venison backstrap that I consumed. It was cool this morning, so I am warming things up around here.

I'm just happy to be here! Today I'm as young as I'll ever be and and older than I've ever been before!

I think they should start culling vegans. With all that plant matter they consume, they produce a lot more methane than folks that have a well balanced diet. They eat the food my food eats and are bad for bees

I been saying that for years. Stop feeding those idiots and they will come too. Hunger gets folks to think and get a reality check.

I have had thoughts of putting my dogs on a vegan diet, but they are pretty thin on the ground in these parts

exactly if it was truly about saving , energy or preserving the environment , they wouldn't take private jets to climate summits it is about creating the crisis you seek to exploit for forced profits.

force obsolescence that is more wasteful and call it green

huge hypocrisy

I think he has a point when we consider all the processing, refining, transportation, storage and cold storage of the actual food, let alone the huge stores we build to layout all the grocieries. I think he is quite off base on the actual production of much of our meat. About 20% of our beef now comes from dairy cull cows and dairy beef crosses for meat and those 3 million plus cows have created nearly 5,000 lbs of dry equivelant milk product in their lifetime and enough manure to fertilize 2-3 acres per year. If we go to veggie only we will need to land fill the millions of tons of food by products that our animals use, Also the 300 million plus acres we don't till for crops due to dryness etc. would not produce anything usable for animals or humans.
Yes maybe our commodity crops are causing issues but the research and development that has gone into corn, wheat, soybeans, rice so that yields have increased dramatically and are way more nutrient efficient per lbs. of dry material and water efficient and the corresponding increases in most veggie and fruit production has not happened yet. We are seeing a big interest in farm to fork, buy local etc. and most of those include a lot of meat and dairy.

meat is still a 'natural' food and they want you to ingest all refined foods...not natural foods.

when the answer is always this or that has to go , cut this , cut that and not now how could we do this better , local , with less infrastructure.

change energy or food type with out serious discussion on how to change the model first

substitute something for another thing and if you start to look close you don't really see the huge savings they claim , just a shift of where they spend those resources.

if always you see not greater service life of infrastructure but greater planned obsolescence.

if you go off grid solar the very first thing you do is scale back usage how little do you need to use , cutting back is unpopular so you sell the technology abandon and dismantle the old cutting your safety net then you can force the change with no fall back.

Real meat walks around under it's own power and needs little besides hay and water and some minerals to do very well.
it is portable , anyone with some land can raise it , even people with very little land can raise some types of meat.

it needs a few tools and a freezer or the right weather to turn animal into meat
you can can it dry it , freeze it , smoke it it can be light and be made to keep for years

it doesn't need complex equipment , factories and laboratories to make.

it makes you start to think , it is more about control than safety, more about concentrating the food supply than diversifying it. less about health than finding a way to force change.

where is the money to be made on commodity markets , or for corporations if you grow your own food , your own meat , reduce your energy to use almost nothing.

everything is focused on keeping you buying goods and services all the time.

Green County that is great but you left out the most important driver and that is control. The few want total control. Controll the food you control the world.

Might want to have a plan for when that hunger drives them to cross those bridges and tunnels in search of.

Hobbie the beautiful part is by the time they decide to leave they will have killed at leat half of them self fighting each other. Disease will get another large part from lack of sanitation. Remember now only the criminals in those areas are armed.
