should i fill the bait all the way up or just under the trigger? im afraid if i only do under the trigger the coon wont find it but then im saving more bait

Put a Lifesaver gummy on the trigger. Coons are gluttons, they ain't gonna leave without dessert.

I use dog food and fill it up even with the trigger. I have no problems catching them.

I prefer level with the triggers to just under. Io want the first teach or two to result in the trap firing. I don't want to feed it or the mice, squirrels or birds

im sure they wont leave without that i would probaly eat them all before i use it

I also fill about even or slightly below the trigger with dry catfood. If in the south, trapping when fireants are out means no sweets, meats, sardines, etc.
