But yea, with our leaders on the take I wouldn't be surprised if they build one here.
I don't see why one in Cuba is a big deal with the technology of today.

What's the difference if they have a base in Cuba or a sub in the gulf? It makes a big difference in a time of war..... It does, their equipment/assets would be easier for us to bomb? Think about it, with the missiles we and they have today, along with the naval fleets, the world is quite small. That's just my opinion.

That's because you have no rational answer, given the military might of today's world.
There's enough bombs on subs to do the job, its more a question of who is gonna be dumb enough to push the button. That's more the worry than a base here or there.
