I picked my raspberries yesterday. I have three twenty foot rows. It has been very dry but I have put a goodly amount, I think, of water on them.
When I picked them they just crumbled. The berries are a bunch of very small clusters formed into one big berry. Does this make sense? When you pick them they just crumble into a bunch of tiny balls. I have never seen this. Oh ye of infinite website knowledge, tell me what is going on.

Interesting information. My berries are very numerous. It is a very good crop. So it doesn’t appear that I have any damage. The vines, and berries, look fine. Nice, big, fat berries. Then when I pick them they fall apart. I’ll go out tomorrow and check things out, lookin closer.

Good link for sure but it really comes down to almost any real stress can impact the fruit formation aspect. I had a strange die off o ver winter on about 2/3rds of my patch. Interesting that the new canes are quite thick in those areas. I will transplant a bunch as well.
