QuietButDeadly OP trapper Joined: Sep 2010 NC, Person Co.	A NC Highway Patrolman who had stopped to assist a stranded motorist was shot by the person he stopped to help but this incident had a much better ending for the Officer than the recent incident in Georgia. I have been trying to find more details that might shed some light on why the motorist had shot at the trooper but I have not found anything. All of the news reports are basically the same. Probably will not know more until the SBI report comes out. The good news is that the Officer is OK. Officer Shot on I26 in Buncombe County NC Life Member: NCTA, VTA, NTA, TTFHA, MFTI Member: FTA
