Yes 0% for 5 years .99 for 6 or 1.99 for 7.

Bob it was running great a month ago. The front tire went flat for the 4 th time and my 13 year old rounded off one of the lugnuts tith the cordless impact. I ran out of time had to leave for work so it sat for about a month outside before I had that tire solid filled.
I will change the air filter and mess with the carb if I get some time in the morning. I will remove the inlet pipe first thing. Wouldn't shutting off the gas at the shut off under the tank do the same thing? I guess it would take longer to run out of gas going in.
I hope it's a quick easy sub 500$ fix. I need a new tractor but was hoping to hold out tell the recession hit full bore and they offer incentives above 0%

If this is the problem, simply open the fuel line drain and drain 1+ gallons out of the tank/line. Petroleum is lighter than water, so the water settles to the bottom of the fuel tank.

It is important to keep the fuel tank full (after use) during freezing temps, otherwise there is condensation in the empty space of the fuel tank, thus - water in the diesel or gas. When this happens the engine will begin to cough and sputter. I learned this lesson the hard way (as usual).

I called new carb is $350. This one had been rebuilt 3 times I have done. Last time there was the last time for this on this one.

I guess I will pull the carb drain the fuel change the in line filter I put on it and drive up to the shop an hour away and buy a new carb and hope. It fixes it. I hate to wast time and money if it doesn't fix it.

It won't be today still waiting on the tire shop to fix my flat. Then I have to go by the hay guys place and get a few bails to last until he gets time and good weather to deliver our order.

I also went to the kobota dealer. Mx 6000 with loader is $41k. At 0% for 5 years. I like the tractor but don't want the payments.

that's the cheap one...might as well get a cab with heat and a/c grin

When tractor was sitting, was it inside or outside? Can over exhaust?

In a months time, mud daubbers can plug up the air intake, exhaust (inside muffler) or both.

There are a lot of things that can go wrong with fuel systems, but not many go wrong in a month's time while just sitting around. Very frustrating to find it.

Looks like it was the easiest fix ever. Choke was stuck and it's running now. I CHECKED IT and it moved freely but apparently it was not moving all the way freely.

Simple fixes sure are nice but can really make you feel like a dunce.

Carbed.

Choke opening all the way?

3rd reply.

Just saying.....

LOL, I've learned, over and over it seems, to start with the basics, and make SURE I'm giving it FULL attention.

And yet I STILL trip myself up, over and over and over., missing the obvious

I think the old tractors are more fun to mess around with than the newer ones. Glad to hear that you were able to get it running again.

All I got done was mow down the high stuff in the garden area then till it. Well my 13 year old was in the driver seat. But I'm darn glad it's going. Hopefully it keeps going with no more issue. Some day I'm going to have it completely restored. I have pictures of my great grandfather on it.

Here I am 43 years old using the same tractor in the same land as my great grandfather was doing in the 70s. Even better is my boys are doing it to. They know ever dip and hole on the farm. " dad watch out there is a hole over there"

I’m glad you found it check the clamp that holds the outside sheath of the choke cable in place it may have come loose, on our 4000 gas this happens especially if you pull the cable quickly to try and keep it from dying.
