Bob, if I have any detective skills at all, I owe them to the crow & coyote....Plus, having a judge & some cops in the family may have rubbed off, Lol.

Mersa can be nasty as you know Dave. I hope it clears with the antibiotics.
Ask your Doctor for an Epi-pen. Next time your stung use EpiPen and benadryl
Take care

I'm lucky, Bee stings only bother me for minutes.

But, I habe a cousin that carries a kit to give himself a shot if stung. Without it, he'd be toast.

There comes a point liberalism has gone too far, we're past that point.

I got stung several times years ago while squirrel hunting. Stuck my foot in a yellowjacket nest hole. Quite an ordeal, they chased me for a couple hundred yards. I threw down my shotgun and broke it's stock. Was shedding clothes as I went.
As I remember, I cured it with a cold bath and a 6 pack of beer.

I have had bouts of severe skin reactions from working too hard in the blazing heat. It starts out as hives and turns into huge areas of 1/4" thick bumpy leathery hide which itches like crazy. It goes away completely after 36 hours.
I also have that reaction if I do any TIG welding without a heavy jacket. The intense flash goes right through a t-shirt.
I guess I just have hyperactive skin which overreacts to something I should avoid in the first place.

Touchy skin like me. I had problems last fall when real hot in Nov with hip boots on an flareup same place on legs but different . Don't go docter easy but finally did twice. The first time no help. 2 ND time over 6 wks later the other docter prescribe something that work . It is same to slightly better today . Not much better if us. I am scared to cut grass in that spot . It is where I fill in last summer for the new gasline . I bet ground nest cavity in there. U don't know it till step on nest area . I scared what happen if stung again . Summer is bad for skin problems. I don't mess around in weeds much till towards Nov. An then I have had skin trouble in weeds. Flare-ups of unknowen what is .
