Technically true. But even the feds aren't going after the smoker sitting in his house doing bong hits. They're not even going after the street level dealer. They're more interested in the higher level distributers/manufacturers. There are only 4 states where mj is completely illegal. Idaho, South Carolina, Kansas and Wyoming. 7 States where THC is illegal but CBD is legal. All the rest are either decriminalized, completely legal, medical and decriminalized, or medical. I honestly think that by 2030 it's going to be legal in all states at least for medical use, or decriminalized.

You start out smoking a joint then a needle in the arm when all this madness going to stop when your dead in a alley with needle tracks on your arms. Guss that's mainly because most people don't wake up one day and decide to stick a needle in their arm. Most potheads never convert over to heavier drugs anymore. The main cause now seems to be the over prescribing of opioids by drs. Then the Dr's decide to not prescribe them to a patient anymore or even try to wean them off. Those are the high percentage of people now-a-days that turn to heroin. The old adage of pot being the gateway drug doesn't really hold true in most cases. I've done a lot of pot in my early years, but never stuck a needle in my arm. I'm not saying it doesn't happen, but it isn't the main root cause of heroin and meth usage anymore. I would say that if one were to take a "survey" of meth and heroin users in my county in PA the vast majority started after using prescription drugs and being shut off.

I will as soon as you show me all the lawmakers you've hung for proposing/making anti 2A law. Killing another individual for convenience is not a freedom anyone should have. You haven't adopted any unwanted babies just like I have not hung any politicians. Your post was stupid. You're running a strong race for third place. Definitely top five but you may get third. That's a rather goofy comparison. You make it sound like you can just say "Hey, give me a baby" and they will. If you know of a way for an American to adopt an American baby for $10,000 or less... please let me know.

If drugs were sold over the counter at pharmacies they would be cheaper and pure. A lot fewer people would die from overdoses or from bathtub concoctions. I don't believe addiction would be any worse as any drug anybody wants is already easy to obtain.
A lot of people may not die of " bathtub concoctions" but more would die of mainlining "cheap and Pure" as you say

Ang find a pregnant girl who doesn't want to keep or kill her baby. I bet if she agrees to letting you have the child 10 grand would cover it.
Those who would give up essential liberty, to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety. Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790)

When someone believes in liberty for the individual in the womb, why is the standard for such a belief require that they adopt a child? If that's the standard for those who believe in "securing the blessings of liberty to posterity", what are the standards for those that don't stand for the liberty of the unborn but believe in the 2A?

There comes a point liberalism has gone too far, we're past that point.

Legal in Cali. Should be legal everywhere.
Freedom. Your right we should all do as California does. They have turned there state into the Garden of Edon. I'd thought as a lawyer you could have made a better argument than that or at least a legitimate one. Myself with what I see of the results California is getting from their choices I'd prefer to do the opposite of what they do. Amen

If we could make the standard aborting the consequences for an individual’s action across the board, there’d be a lot less lawyers and judges on the planet and even fewer politicians.

I am so sick of all this BS talk about how harmless dope is. I’ll grant you that possibly pot in its original form may have been a recreational drug…. Whatever that is supposed to be???? But today’s pot sold in shops and streets is nothing like the pot of the 60’s and 70’s. It has been genetically engineered and modified into a super drug that has many, many more times the THC levels of what it once had. Not only that they have changed the effects it has on peoples brains. My former best friend and hunting companion is a classic example of “how harmless” this drug is. He explained that there are variants that can make you feel subdued or like on crack, just had to choose which one you felt was best for your day. He has played the unemployment game for the majority of his “adult” life, I use that term only to mean that he is over the physical age of 18. He can’t function without drawing a hit, and continues to drive, hunt, and wander around all the while stoned. If he were a drunk, he’d been jailed years ago, but because he’s stoned he never pays a penalty. Todays pot is nothing like it once was, the drug cartels have paid billions to geneticists to modify it into what it is today. Don’t fool yourselves, this stuff is big $ for some powerful people, that’s why they don’t care. Alcohol hasn’t changed in eons, same can not be said of pot…
