Started raining about 2 this morning, now we are under a flash flood warning. This is the first gully washer we’ve had in a long, long time. Son’s pond might not go dry now. This is the kind of rain we’ve needed for a long time. Still raining, bet we’ve got more these past few hours than we’ve had in months. Supposed to rain again tonight.

Inch here overnight it just started up again let it come we might have a green summer this year. It can be wet here one day and dusty dry in a few weeks the dust clouds on the roads were getting noticeable. Food plot going in this week the moisture is welcome.

They are predicting rain for us Saturday night into Sunday. Hope it comes true, we've had too many false hopes in the past predictions.

Tried trapping some pocket gophers, but the ground is so dry, it's like digging into concrete.

Must be nice to eat ice cream as fast as you want and not have to worry about brain freeze.

Rained here the past 7 days in a row. 7 to 12 plus inches depending on where you are at in that timeframe. Went from bad drought to rivers flooding in a week lol. Crazy.
Beaver calls are imminent lol

Yep, 5+ inches here in NW MO. Ground was so hard is took time to absorb it. Had to chainsaw limbs off the creek as they were overflowing. Washed out a couple of my sprouting food plot's so I'm going to reseed.

County tilled the road for some reason I barely made it out of my driveway leaving the place today it was like driving on soaked black dirt tough to go in the direction you planned to go. LOL Not passable with a car or SUV now just a mess.

I’m guessing the guy with the feedlot down the road ain’t happy either no trucks coming or going in the next days to weeks if we keep getting rain.

It just rained hard for 10 minutes, the most we have received in 2 or 3 months. I wish we could get a couple days worth.

The last week we have got a tad less then 2 inches. Abnormally dry conditions are now over, but overal water table is very, very low.Crops have responded amazingly after the rain with the heat. One can tell we are still short of moisture overall, after 2 inches in a week, one can find dry areas after a couple days of hot dry weather. Some storm damage 15 miles north of us and 12 miles south, Winds to about 65 mph, some hail and heavy rainfall. 10 miles from my house there were ditches over flowing so they got a lot.

Woke up to steady rain I was hoping to get the food plot planted today but ripped a valve stem off of the 4 wheel yesterday dragging the plot. If it lets up I’ll finish the planting if I can clear the spot I picked out.

Rained like a cow urinating on a flat rock during the night again last night.
That makes 7 of the last 8 days. Crazy!

Been getting good rain here not everyday as you gentlemen have been almost 29 inches this year . 4.3 inches for July the crops look really good with the exception of the earliest corn got stung from a dry June. If it don’t frost and rain continues through august should have stubble beans around here at 45-50 bushel
