Our Mn. trappers convention starts this Thursday. Just wondering how many of you gents am I going to see there. Sure glad the heat wave is breaking.
Thursday Aug.10-Dealer buildings open--Noon 5:00pm.(note our MTA website has the incorrect opening time of the dealer buildings) noon is the correct time.
Friday Aug 11-Dealer buildings open-8:00A.M.-5:00 P.M.
SaturdayAug. 12-Dealer buildings open-8A.M.-5:00 P.M.

Won’t be making it down there. Too far and gas too high

Well it appears I won't be able to get as much junk in the truck as I had hoped. My plan was to load the bare essentials first and then see how much room was left for traps to sell in the tailgate area. I loaded my shade hooch, beer cooler, lawn chair, beer, tent, sleeping bag, portable beer cooler, cot, beer, tables and beer. I could only fit about 200 traps in the truck after that.

Well' I haven't had a beer in 3 years,so when you come to visit,I know what you will be bringing with you--and it ain't traps.

I haven't laid in a puddle and nearly froze to death. Maybe it is time to start drinking again. It will be good to give you grief in person again Tom!

I didn't quit,just slowed down a lot. When crawling back to the house through the water and ice,I could have used a brandy. The rescue squad,the ambulence crew and a lot of doctors,offered all kinds of pain medication--but not a one offered me a drink.

Hoping to roll in Thursday night and tailgate Friday. Look forward to seeing some of you guys. It's been a while.

I was pressured into going. We will be there Thursday night through Saturday. I have almost nothing for tailgating this year, as I had a decent garage sale last spring. It looks like I'm more of a buyer than a seller this year.

A buyer? Well such a deal have I for you!
