So Hair Sniffers Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm was on the Board of Proterra an electric Bus Company and got them Hundreds of MILLIONS in Tax Paid Grants. Even Kneepads Harris Touted how great it was and how electric Buses would help save the Planet. Then days later they file Bankruptcy just after Jennifer and others quickly got their money out. Seems like Jennifer got 1.5 million alone. Now just think how much heck would have been raised if it was a Trump Business or one of the Families. Don't worry Al Gore got his investments out just before they filed as well!!!

Where is the source of these contentions? Some people make posts without factual accountability, which seems okay when conservatives are doing it. The OP doesn't have a lot of credibility on his own.

The first article dated May 26 says that DOE Secretary Jennifer Granholz, following Republican criticism, sold her shares of the electric bus company under a conflict of interest agreement.

The second article dated August 9 says the company went bankrupt after receiving a ten-million dollar loan by the Trump administration, which was then forgiven in 2022, under Biden.

So there is an innocent explanation, but it does smell rotten, doesn't it? It would be really bad if she'd been an officer or director of the company, as opposed to a shareholder. Whatever info is given to shareholders is public, absent insider trading.

I don't think she's going down. But it does look bad, I agree.

Something just hit me. I never did bankruptcy law, but there's a remedy known as a "clawback," where the bankruptcy trustee is allowed to recover payments the corporation made to officers, directors, and shareholders within a certain period of the bankruptcy filing. If I recall right, it's either 90 or 180 days.

So she may have to pay her stock sale proceeds back to the trust estate. Shareholders are the last in line, after creditors, for getting paid from the estate. Typically, there's nothing left for them; their stock has no value.

If I were her, I'd pay it back right away, before the trustee sues her arse into bankruptcy court. And before the administration's critics make more political hay out of it.
