Was never claimed to be that...if you know how payment processors work, that's basically what Bitcoin and similar coins that are mined are. The tokens from it are basically the payments.

Looking at some sources apparently a lot of the selloffs were leveraged positions. On one hand I can understand people leveraging assets but on the other hand I can't. Really haven't been a fan of wall street involvement with cryptos, on the actual currency side. There was supposed to be an SEC decision on a spot ETF that didn't happen.

Oh my facts are straight. You need to slide that chart back some more! Or read it again OVER A YEAR AGO . Bitcoin hit 67,000 and change . I said it would tank and some expert on here said it would be over 100,000 by January. But to his credit he didn’t say which January. I think in around 2 weeks it fell to 17,000 and change .

I just looked it up. On November 9 2021 Bitcoin hit 68,000. You figure the percentage drop . Plus that date is OVER. A year ago !!!!!

Dude that chart is the 1yr chart. Pick your date. The peak was just about 28 months ago.. slightly more than a year. Even back then the target price was 30k.

Elon doesn't do a lot of stuff based on financials. His complaint about cryptoa was the energy requirements to maintain the system. He is an environmentalist.

Bitcoin will rise and fall. Nature of the game especially since now there's more institutional speculation involved.
