One ear for 4 minutes with husk on. Then cut through the husk at the base of the ear and slip the ear out of the husk. Excellent!

What power level do you cook the corn at? At 10, our microwave heats very fast.

How many ears can you cook at once?

Grilled / roasted corn is great too . . . especially if it gets a little smokey flavor to it! laugh

I mostly do it on the grill , soak 20 minutes seems plenty

I have done husk off wrapped in damp paper towel I think that was 2 minutes I don't like my corn over done , just hot.

so it is no surprise it works in the husk

I get a clean new pair of work gloves each year I keep in the kitchen during sweet corn season use them for a while shucking corn off the grill , after sweet corn season they get other uses get another pair next year.

I get my grill tanks filled at the hardware store so easy to grab a pair when it is the start of sweet corn season and I am getting a tank filled.
