Yeah mine are 80s through 90 and run great. Well kept and or restored. Was asked about new again by a friend and struggle with an answer. Told him to avoid box stores.

I just bought a John Deere, says made in tennessee.
I looked the plant up and says AG tractor. American made
There comes a point liberalism has gone too far, we're past that point.

TORO here that little machine cut rough, real rough stuff for four years and now it is almost a lawn. 5 acres of orchard in a private hunting club, was over grown by every thing imaginable for 20 years. I pulled out rock and stumps filled holes. My only problem is that the bears like gas for some reason and chew anything that smells of gas......jk

5 rough acres for 4 years is a work out. What model? We lost our dealer but did find another that is not snobby. I have one Toro with 2800 hrs lol. Though it has been resting lately.

Not small and not cheap but very happy with our Toro Z master zero turn commercial, bought it new in 03, we mow 4 acres, hour meter quit years ago and I would hate to guess how may hours on it. Change the oil once a year, hydraulic oil every other. Have replaced clutch once, throttle cable once and replaced leaking crank seal last year. For the abuse that this unit has taken I would highly recommend.
life is good......

This land is too steep for a zero turn mower, everyone says to me, . I really dont know anything about them but the little torro has handles on the side of the seat to hold on to and I slide my crack over to be split by the sides of the seat. I feel well balanced then even with wet grass----yes there is grass now. I still have holes to fill in still but it looks good. This spring it was beautiful with the blossoms all over the place but then the frost hit and now very few apples......jk

My cub cadet for the first year was exceptional, after that not so much, can say that the model I have it takes a pit crew to switch from mower to blower, at least for this 74 yo a real PITA. Have had to replace belts every year and blower belts sometimes twice a season and still doesn't throw snow worth 2 hoots compared to the craftsman We had for nigh on 20 years you could not pay me to get another Cub Cadet.
The job of a Patriot is not to protect his country but to protect the people from the tryannical government
