For you guys that snare beaver ...what would put in a grab bag to go snare beaver ..besides the snares
Got cable cutters,dikes,wire,spare tags ,hatchet,cable extensions bottle or 2 of lure ...any other mentions ?

Snares are already attached to extensions at the house. Might have a couple extra ones handy if you need extra length. Couple extra carabineers in case one gets lost in deep water . I love my quick supports so I don't carry more than a few feet of wire . Light hammer for the supports and hand pruners. Couple lures and go

Snare with cable stake attached, stake driver, small support wire stake, slide maker shovel, and lure.

I just hang several dozen (with tie off wire attached) on the handlebar of the skidoo.
Right there to wire to the baitpole,no fooling around digging in a bag.

When I check, i might have a few replacement snares and cable cutters. Always carry cable cutters(actual cable cutters not lineman pliers or diagonal cutters or other pliers) anytime you're running a snare line or using cable stakes and a .22
