FYI-this new disney film is homo friendly, nonbinary gay promoting. Every new thing on this stupid Disney plus is woke. And before I get the “i canceled that crap or I wouldnt support Disney”, I dont want it. My wife has the two kids every evening and they watch Bluey and the boy is all Spiderman. I could cancel all I want and she would just start it again. This is just an FYI if you find your kids watching it.

That's exactly what we have done. Used to spend a week or two a year at the parks. Have not been in several years.

This is how they bring the tras into your home. You won't watch every minute with the kids and they will be exposed to the message in your home it's inevitable.

I'm lucky my wife is normally on the same page as I am and if not will conseed after a discussion if I don't change my mind. Disney going woke was hard on her but she cut the out 100% on her own. I'm truly blessed to have such an amazing wife.

I thought it was ok, little love story between a girl (ember) and a boy (wade). She was torn because she thought her father wanted her to take over the family business. He wanted her to be herself. Not the greatest movie ever, but not bad.

Blues and Spider-Man are also solid choices.

We usually read a book. Tonight’s feature was Genesis because that is what the younger boy is reading in school during Bible study this week and a book called “the bad seed” that my oldest got at a book fair.

I apologize, I was thinking of a different movie...just looked it up, I was thinking of Strange World, I haven't seen Elemental.

Yeah, big difference. We all make mistakes Yukon John. No worries brother. We made it about 2 minutes into the preview of strange world and said it wasn’t appropriate. We screen most things our children watch or read. If it is borderline, we explain the errors and issues.

Some things are worth standing up to your wife over. Your children's future should be one of those things.

To be clear, my wife is conservative. My wanting to drop disney is because of what they are now and I dont want them to happen upon something I dont approve of. What I was getting at is after being at work for 10-12 hours, she enjoys the little time she has while they watch those two shows-spiderman and bluey, for an hour or so while she does some stuff. She doesnt want them watching the woke crap either. I havent watched this elemental movie, I just googled it and found what I found about it. Just wanted to make anyone who lets their kids watch Disney aware of what I found. Unfortunately, there is no way to block certain shows, just block the ratings like pg-13.

We go hunting, fishing, trapping, logging, berry picking, shed antler hunting, occasionally watch a documentary or historical movie, every once in a while old comedy like Laurel and Hardy or Abbot and Costello. Build green house, shed, work on various vehicles, work out... lots of things to do beside watch TV. It takes time, but you can adjust your mind from that addiction.

^^^BINGO!!^^^ I whole heartedly agree in adjusting them to outside and mostly eliminating addictive TV. I've done it with my great granddaughter and she doesn't want to watch TV much at all. Her mantra now is "I want to play outside Papa"

We watched it the other night... no alphabet propaganda (at least not overt) in this one that I saw.
Not a great movie, kids didn't enjoy it.

I talk to my kids about any messaging in media or school and ask them to think critically about things. The constant deluge of "content" is not going away. My opinion is that it is better to raise kids (who grow into adults) that question EVERYTHING no matter who is telling them... weigh the evidence and consider if the source has been trustworthy with information in the past.

Dcw you do what you think is best for your family. Yet you don't like the woke and gay pushed Disney crap and do your best to filter it but even if you are successful you are still paying that company and supporting them putting out such programming. The programming that hundreds of thousand of kids are being exposed to that don't have parents that take the time and effort to filter or pay attention to what their kids are watching.

So while you may be or are at least attempting to shield your children from it you are infact supporting and paying for others children to get that programming. Then those kids come hang out with yours. ..

Let me tell you people a little something about Disney. When we lived in Florida it was all over the news when 14 People employed at Disney were arrested for Child Porn. Not just the workers but 3 of the high executives as well. I would not let a child of mine anywhere near that Pedo Crap hole.
