You gotta be smarter than the Beagle, and that ain't easy!

Very picky, even with snacks.

That beagle needs hunted harder..maybe every day!

That would really upset her nap schedules.

When we lived at the coast, my wife canned a lot of yellowfin tuna. Whenever she opened a jar our blue heeler was immediately under her feet. Wife poured the tuna liquids over the dogs dry food. It was like cocaine.

I have a mountain cur that I have to spell things like go, truck, boots, gun, etc. The cur dog is the guard of the yard and his buddy, the aussie cheers him on. When the cur dog gets onto something, the aussie comes running back to the house, screaming in a high pitched yapping - and runs back and forth between me and the gun. As soon as I pick up the gun, he heads back to the cur dog to show me the way

I would buy a pup from that beagle! For you non-hound people - you are merely the executioner and the chauffeur, the hound does the hunting !!! So much of the desire to hunt has been bred out of all hounds today in order to make them pets/companions/show dogs that it is discouraging.
