Barge is good stuff also.never tried it with fishing shoes that get wet. walleyed used barge contact cement for years to glue golf spike shoe soles to the bottom of his hip boots for use in walking on slippery rock bottom streams. It works great in under water applications. w

that Barge brand is 35 dollars a can
but I might have to get some , I bought Keen shoes and about 3 months in where the shoe flexes the bottom came loose from the upper
the front and back are still connected but the middle of a not very old pair ,
well it has me looking for a different brand of shoe/hiking boot but I wouldn't mind some more life out of these
America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

E6000 and Shoe Goo and a couple other products made by Eclectic Industries are all the same thing, just in different labeled tubes. At least that's what the guy at Eclectic Industries told me on the phone a few years ago.
Regardless, I use that stuff for everything. I've even had good luck using it to fix cracked snowmachine hoods. On the back side, I put layers of Goo and fiberglass. Lasts for years.
Coonman, I think they even have a black colored tube of the Goo. You might want to try that on your shoe soles.

I had trouble with the soles separating on my Keen hikers. I used GEAR AID Aquaseal FD to glue them back on. they stayed on after that. I bought it on Amazon for around $9.00.
Eh...wot?
