Does anyone subscribe to The Trapper magazine? I believe years ago it was Trapper and predator caller magazine.
Is it worth the subscription? They are offing it for $15 a year or $25 for two years

Just got my November issue today. As far as I'm concerned, all trapping mags are good. Some better than others, but I like them all.

It’s worth it…but is BY FAR the worst of all the trapping magazines in my opinion. The magazine would improve greatly if new and different writers submitted articles. I agree the magazine could be improved with some different writers. There is one in particular that fills pages with mostly useless noise - at least it seems that way to me. (I'm not mentioning names as the guy really doesn't deserve public criticism from me.)

Did i read that ad right that it's 47.00 something per year?
I know last time i subscribed to it they automatically re up you from there on unless you notify them not to! So i imagine first year is 15 bucks then nearly 50 bucks a year after that. I didn't like not deciding whether to renew or not so dropped it.

Wife I remember it. Ran into the printer from Sutton a few years back, he was umpiring my sons legion ball game over in that area. Wasn’t chuck but this was Mike who ran the print shop in that town. Was my bible for many, many years. Mike and his wife were involved in Nebr Fur harvesters for many years. Mike used to print all the convention flyers ( way before internet ha ha) and all the raffle tickets.

Money cannot buy you happiness, but it can buy you a trapping license and that's pretty close.

I began to get it about 1982 It was at a time when trapping /fur prices where on the increase During the 80's the TPC was published by Spearman It was printed on about 12 x15 newspaper paper It generally was well over a hundred pages Fur prices where booming. And fur prices where at higher prices than any other time that was a trapper And It was worth it's cost back than just for all the advertisers that where in the magazines I learned of many new items just from the ads. As a lifetime member of the PTA I get the Trapper as past of my membership . Since I used to archery hunt in W VA I decided to join the W VA trappers assoc I felt like it was a good idea just to support an ordination that I have at least some connection too They give a choice of the Trapper or the Trappers Post as part of membership This was the main reason I I join W VA trappers asoc. We need to support our state associations Getting a copy of any trappers mag in return for joining them is a great deal for all trappers . I have been a trapper for about 50 plus years One of the things that like the most about trapping is there is always more to learn and better ways to do things Much of that info will be in those magazine I enjoy both of hem And I aso get a trapping mag as a member of the NTA Plus I subscribe to FFG I enjoy all of them .
