When I'm in the mood for coffee, Trapline Kodiak (dark and strong). Big improvement or the mud I drank when I was working.

Medium roast has more caffeine than dark roast. Roasting removes moisture and solvable caffeine from the beans. I always thought the dark was stronger, but not so.

Decaf is made from cheaper beans because the process adds cost. The public refuses to pay more for decaf, thus it starts out with crap beans. Learned this when Nestle was a customer where I worked. Also, the producers try very hard to maintain a level cost. When heir costs are down, they do not reduce the price and when it is up, the same. Price fluctuations in the 70s drove away a lot of coffee drinkers when retail and vending prices went up.

Decaf is simply beans that have been soaked so your basically buying used coffee if you get decaf.

Also roasting has no effect on caffeine levels it's all in the extraction process used and amount of coffee used

Black Silk is good stuff. My favorite is Dunkin Dark. But any strong, black coffee will do.

There, that just proves it, "Coffee Mate" creamer company was the actual instigator behind the Covid virus.

Just a plan old cup of coffee for me I've been to a Starbucks once that was enough no way to get it to not to taste like waste oil. Had them add half water to cut the viscosity but it was still sludge.

Coffee medium blend, half and half and stevia now for me.
