Lugnut I attended quite a few of the meetings that where held in the late 90's and early 2000's concerning the license increase I actually testified in favor of a increase a couple of times At the same time there was a number of crooked PGC officials that where dismissed for illegal actions that they where a part of while preforming their duties . Our boat launches are now plugged with P.A.
Truck & trailer rigs molesting our waterfowl
and tearing up the marshes with massive
overpowered mud motors.

Our black powder/muzzle-loader season opened
this past Saturday and it's mostly P.A. orange
army units ground pounding our wildlife management areas.

Doesn't anybody in P.A. have a job or work anymore,
cause they're all up here raping & looting our fish & wildlife !!!!

My camp is about six miles south of the NY state line. I've never felt the need or desire to hunt, trap or fish north of the border. There's more than enough game, furbearers and fish in the area to keep me happy and occupied. There are plenty of New Yorkers hunting in my areas though.

The only time I cross the line is to eat at a couple of good restaurants. It's a pain in the arse making sure everybody remembers to leave their carry-weapons and ammo at camp before we leave because of NY's stupid gun laws. Cross the line with any of that and you're an instant felon.

New York doesn't honor PA's CCW's. In fact. New York doesn't honor ANY other state's CCW. I looked into getting a CCW in for New York. Guess what, New York doesn't issue CCW's to non-residents?

I was going to trap nuisance beaver at a stone quarry as a favor to a friend years ago. Then I looked into the non-resident license fees...no thanks.

So, I really don't see the attraction, you all can keep it up there.

Most of those elected to the PA Legislature decide the most important thing they must do is be sure they are elected over and over again And the easy way to have that happen is to invent ways to give money to voters who will reelect them So they see money that the PGC has as a means to keep a job that is not designed to be a career but quickly becomes one . I

Then when it snows every PA snowmobiler is here racing from bar to bar if they can avoid the trees .

Iowa's politicians would love to get their paws on the f & g trust fund monies but can't because it's protected by the state constitution. So they do other things to defund the dnr. It's happening nationwide to some degree.

Look at Wisconsin.They charge you for a Pheasants stamp and the money is supposed to be for stocking Pheasants. I was with a group of 25 hunters that had 15 dogs. In four days we all flushed one Pheasant. Now they claim that they are waiting until the Holidays to do the big dump to get the Out of State dollars when Families come together for the Holidays.
