The US isn't mentioned in the bible because it didn't exist when the bible was written. Neither is China, Russia, Iran, and others mentioned. However, according to biblical scholars there are clues that do relate to some of these countries now. Read Ezekiel for one place to look.

Israel/the Jews are in rebellion against God, by not accepting Gods son Jesus as the Messiah (not counting messianic jews here, of course). There were lots of times in the Bible where God handed over the israelites to their enemies and allowed them to lose wars when they were in rebellion. This may be another example.

In any case, Ive got plenty of bills here at home to pay, I don't need to pay Israel's bills too.

If we weret paying Israel we would just direct that money elsewhere so some of it could be funneled back to our politicians.
