Providence farm, First, show me a UAW member that makes $15 an hr. that is not doing brainless work like sweeping the floor for a living. Second, I have trouble believing that a truck made in Mexico would only cost 15-20K. Third, I'm not a union hater, I've commented on this site that at one time there was a need for Unions, but that was back in the days of the robber Barons that forced people to work seven days a week and buy all their goods from the "Company Store". This is not the case today. There are Government safety rules, Government limitations on how many hours a company can make someone work, Government rules on paying time and a half, Government rules on paid holidays and vacations, UAW get a high quality healthcare plan, in other words better compensation and benefits than most Americans today. And the Union wants 40% more and additional benefits? Fourth, I'm not jealous of what someone makes if they earn it and provide value at the same time. I've worked for myself most of my life and have not been dependent on any company to provide me a job and make more than any three highest paid Union workers anywhere, so much for being jealous. Provide value for a service and all is good., instead of holding the American people over a barrel and squeezing for more. Maybe at some point we remember we're all on this site with a common interest and just delete this thread before we all alienate each other? RANT ENDED! Wait! As a side note, I do believe top ranking executives are overpaid, who really needs 15-20 million a year to do good work? But no one complains about professional athletes making over One hundred million a year.

I'll take that bet Sounds like we have a good old fashioned Richard measuring contest! I’ll say this, I don’t care what anyone makes. Heck, I also hope you find every possible way to not pay taxes on it. Taxes are theft and a persons money should be theirs. Now back to deer hunting. Y’all have a good one.

As a side note, I do believe top ranking executives are overpaid, who really needs 15-20 million a year to do good work? But no one complains about professional athletes making over One hundred million a year. Ford stared people out under 18 back when I was looking into them. Takes 8 to 10 years to reach top pay and you may be a temp 5 to 7 years. As far as employers not being aloud to work people but so many hours. Ha I guess 16 hrs a day 7 days a week could be an improvement. My company limits forcing people to no more than 64 hrs a week and we can't work more than 96 but meeting don't count for the 96 so you can get 97.5.. has nothing to do with the government. No one forced the company to do anything. Besides all the Jobs are so simple a chimp can do them just lock the union out and replace the workforce in a few weeks. Should be simple right? Myself I don't care how much anyone gets paid if they can get a high rate of pay good for them. Public perception is against them with the 40% raise and 32 hr week. But like the uaw member stated they are getting forced to work a lot of days off and it's a tactic go help with that and asking for 40% is a starting point .

In a year or two there won't be any UWA they will move to Mexico. You have someday up the entire manufacturing sector in this country including the very poor paying crap benefits places. Won't be a thing left but service sector, medical , and construction filled with illegals.

I was yelling at you because of your Biden support I thought you were like him deaf. So you are saying what you say can't be taken for what it is because you are a liberal or a liar? Sad just sad.
