Absolutely no foreign citizens, or American citizens without extreme vetting, should be allowed to purchase ammunition manufacturers in the US. Foreigners should not be allowed to own any US business of importance, including meat packing plants.
Keith When u say vetted I'm assuming you mean kick backs to powerful people

Keith When u say vetted I'm assuming you mean kick backs to powerful people No, I don't consider vetting paying kickbacks. I have more faith in the United States then you do. By vetted i mean an investigation into the potential owner so that anyone found to be an actual or potential security risk to our country, will not be permitted to own the businesses. Keith

If they start to pump out ammo and primers, I'm all for someone taking them over.

Kieth I try to be like you I really do but who will ultimately be in charge of the vetting process? Who will run oversight on them? If they get called in front of a congressional inquiry and just tell my senator Ted Cruz "I don't have those numbers or details in front of me today"? Will the judges and justices just refuse to hear the case as in election "irregularities"?
It sticks in my craw, but I am starting to think the 76ers understood their enemies better than we so right now. I hope I am wrong.

Who will prosecute any violations? Will it be the folks who decided Hillary can loose 30k emails and be fine but Trump needs to be raided by agents loaded for bear?
Maybe it will be the folks that decided Hunter Biden didn't need to account for a gun charge. I'm becoming more skeptical as I type.

Do you think it would be better to do nothing and let vital US industries become owned and controlled by foreigners and even in some cases enemies like Russia and China? What's the solution? Keith

As of right now there is a fair amount of supply out there other than large rifle primes.

True, Powder is more common at a price, but primers are just about non-existent unless you get lucky and a shipment just came in as you're at the store! lol

Everyone (outside the USA) knows that in the USA the almighty dollar rules everything. and everyone. Everything and everyone there can be bought or sold. Capitalism at its finest. Nationalizing industies is taboo.
