Smoker of a day! Got a bunch more gear out, seen a bunch of fresh track, spent good time with a good buddy, and to top it off 5 marten and1 ermine 🙂









Should have had 1 more marten but someone forgot the safeties on the 120..........

That's fantastic. You must be having a blast. Love following your journal, and chasing marten with Ted makes it even better.

How does a person contact Ted? I sent a PM ? thru Trapperman about some snare parts and got no response. No longer need parts but maybe some day again I may want something.

AV it is a blast Ted has run with me twice on my line, World of difference running his line and seeing how he does business. Big wild country up there

I figured since Ted had an ad on the computer at the top of the page and I saw you were promoting his business on the computer that would be the best way to contact him. I am sorry to hear he is to busy to offer customer service this way.

The start of trapping season, high demand for his products, filling orders daily, and building snares has him pretty busy right now! And that is a good thing
He'd eventually get to your email but if you pick up the phone and call or text him you would get a response sooner.

Ted was in Fairbanks for the monthly ATA general membership meeting last night.

He gave a great presentation. (And your name was bantered about a time or two as well...!)

Well opening day here Figured I would break trail and at least get my signs up.



We got hammered the past few days with that wet heavy snow. It was above my knees! Calling for a bunch more come next week. Everything is still wide open as far as creeks and rivers go.

Out of a 17 mile run I only saw these and cut two other set of moose track. Last years winter hammered them pretty good. Not much for other track but this storm just blew out so I think a couple days before anything moves.

12 ,marten 3 ermine a squirrel and a wolf Actually had a marten eat into a ermine. Never seen that before, pretty hungry country!



We think there were 3 wolves in on the bait were we got the black. They wipe that bait out quick! Cut a another pack of about 5-7. Time to be dropping steel

Heckuva start! One set of wolf tracks, one dead wolf 👍🏻
Was that a snare on a natural funnel or was it baited?
Placed an order with Ted last week, anxiously awaiting it.

TY That was a bait station with over 2 dozen snares {Safety in numbers ) set in areas it looked like a wolf would pass through to investigate the bait about 50 to 100 yds away from the bait. Ted says that in years past he has seen them come up out of that particular drainage.

You guys are on a roll! That wolf looks incredible.
