Had one that looked like a Kentucky rifle and shot cork balls propelled by caps, for Some reason I had my ammo confiscated the same day
If I remember correctly it had a pitcher of Fess Parker as Daniel Boone on the box it came in
Had a friend who had one shot a wine bottle size cork and was all steel with a lever action, didn’t take us long to figure out if you jammed the barrel into mud or even wet dirt it would shoot it just as well for a good 10’feet or more just enough to give someone a good face full of mud as you cycled past

Had one. Had a spring loaded one that shoot suction cup tipped darts also That's what I had, a dart gun. I'd shoot bad guys on the tv.

Having a cork gun...? Yellowbelly's thread got me to thinking about them and I didnt want to hijack his thread . I was probably 4 or 5 when I unwrapped one from under the tree. Didnt take me long to cut the thread on the cork and start sailing them throughout the house and bouncing them off my older brother's rear quarters. Guess now that I think about it, it didnt take long for it was taken away for same mentioned events. I remember it was wood and metal construction...sure wish I had that thing today for keepsake...good memories. Yep but useless wit string attached lol

Not allowed at our house. We were taught not to point a gun at anything you didn’t intend to kill and if you pointed a gun at something you better kill it. Makes my skin crawl to this day to see the whole paintball wars/laser tag thing. we were taught only in war or bad guys or.while playing Cowboys n' Injuns
