My buddy's wife sat with their #2 daughter this year so I didn't get to go. The oldest passed a forkhorn the first day and that was the only buck they saw. At least they were hunting!
I have nothing clever to put here.

Youth hunts are the best hunts you never forget them.
Was born in a Big City Will die in the Country OK with that!

That looks like a great time 330. I need to build a stand or two like those.
Life sure is tough when you don't learn from the mistakes of others.

I have a young gal in my charge for a western hunt coming up and as giddy as she is for the adventure, I think I’m even more wound up than she is. Some other great people are involved as well, good times ahead.
Great pics Scott… next year. Maybe a little crib table for a hand or two during the mid day “let’s give it another hour” times.

Rob do you wash that down with buck pee?
I climb down- use a field ditch- spray some deer dander and go back inside
sometimesshoot deer minutes later Apple juice. Actually, in hindsight I wish I had put a simple swing valve in the hose. Open it when you use it and close it the rest of the time to eliminate odors.
I have nothing clever to put here.

You can Still do that ^^^
Nice Shack though^^^ On my next one I am going for the gold. The lower portion below the floor will also be enclosed. It will have an outhouse on the lowest level along with the heater so that the floor is the warmest part.
I have nothing clever to put here.
