Old trapper friend gave me these, hadn’t seen this style before.
Thought I’d share.

Cool, I've never laid eyes on those before either.

There comes a point liberalism has gone too far, we're past that point.

I have or had some of them in my junk. I have never used them before though.

I have nothing clever to put here.

Is it a trigger, or a stand? Can't visualize.
Nevermind, I see it now, it's both.

I wonder if that box is worth something? It says 220 and 230 traps. That's gotta be a rare misprint. There was a 210 trap but I never heard of a 230.

Looks like 220 and 330 to me.
I see what you mean now, the apparatus itself is 220 and 330.

Victor Selective Positioning Mount or SPM. Was supposed to be a conibear pan/stand you could mount in trails log crossings and cubbies and such. I bought a pile of them off a guy 25 years or so ago and tried them with little success. They looked like a good idea, but weren't. The were kinda pricey when new also which is why they never sold well. Probably had 60 to 70 of them. Tried selling them but couldn't. Gave them away to get them out of the shed. Probably have a little collector value now.

I thought the box and paperwork was pretty cool.
Has the year 1978 stamped on box.

One more "trinket" of steel to carry with you that did not produce satisfactory results so we all went back to the 4 way BG trigger and were a lot happier (and richer) from a catch standpoint. .................the mike
