French, German, and Italian. Chances are they were brought back from a military guy during WWII. x2, I have a bunch myself. Post WWII, Huess was the first president of West Germany. But, yes, probably came home with a GI just cold war not WWII. If I had to take a guess, chairforce as they have bases in Great Britian, Italy and Germany and would be more likely to visit all four in a tour than us ground pounders in the Army. But army guys did get leave to travel so who knows.
