Bear Tracker OP trapper B Joined: Jul 2016 Posts: 2,993 Wisconsin	I was out in the woods today with my wife, we came around a corner and pushed an eagle down the trail ahead of us. A couple hundred yards down my wife looks up and I ask her what she is looking at, she states: "Is that a bird in that tree?" Sure enough, it is the eagle hanging upside down by its feet. It was looking around and yet hanging upside down, I have never seen a bird do this much less a bird of prey. Eventually, a small bird flew past it dropped down, and flew off, the darnedest thing I have seen in some time. Has anyone ever seen this or explain the reason for this behavior?
