We need a Drone- I said, "for what?"
My son bought one- He’s never flown one before, I liked his approach- the first thing he said was… “we better take this thing out of beginner mode” lol.
These are the first pictures with the protective film still on the lenses, figured that out after we were back to the cabin. I can see where it will be beneficial in planning and mapping properties in the future.
I already have a list of pictures I'm requesting and we will plot our aerial maps using this imagery. What a great tool- We needed a Drone!

New wetland site, Aspen clear cut separating the two food plots in standing corn. 3rd year Alder Shear growth to the left of wetland.

Here's a Tamarack Island that usually houses the largest bucks on our property, it has elevated bedding sites surrounded by swamp, funnels through kill plots to food plot travel corridors.

The clearing to the left of the Tamarack Island is spring of 2024 Red Osier Dogwood browse plots going in.

Here's the Aspen clear-cut.and future rifle stand- I put the shooting lanes in and maintain them - years in advance of stand placement.

Always thought they would be great for scouting. What brand/model drone does he have?

I always thought they would be great for scouting a beaver pond.

For 3-4 hundred bucks you can get a real decent one on Amazon. Seen a realtor using one with his phone to film a property.
These would be cool, check out some entrances under the ice…lol
