Not really, but really unusual. This was the last one I got. I could get a buck or doe, but hoping for a doe, because I already got one buck, and could only get one more. I can get four does yet.

This is what the trophy looked like on this NC buck....

Neat rack. I'll bet he'll eat just fine. I took a similar rack years ago.

Send that to our resident carver I bet she could work her magic on it. I wonder how sending animal parts works internationally.

Looks like it will be tasty. Keep working that new rifle 4 more to go and when you get them hit late season in the sate next door

Suicide?!?

That's good one to take out of the gene pool.

I recall one like that one. A single eight inch pencil diameter spike the other snapped off for 3/4" stub.

But it was almost 300 pounds! Had back fat on it like a hog just rolling with it. It also only had one nut dropped, it was a cryptorchid.

I just get so dang envious of you southerners who always have the opportunity to shoot so many deer. This year it’s one/license here and bucks only. Hard winters and wolves have put a hurt on the population and it sure makes me long for the days of 2 does permits and one buck. In the flip side, a guy could hardly plant a tree without the dang deer browsing and destroying it at that time. Cool buck Paul! Happy trapping! ScottW

I would measure that at under 3 inches which makes it an antlerless here , male antlerless less than 3" and go shoot some more

Not here. Visible antlers are defined as bony structures that protrude through the skin. Knobs or buttons covered by skin or velvet are not considered visible antlers.

What was his name and how many years of trail cam photos you got on him Paul? BTW you forgot to mention your sponsors.
