swampgas chili and schmidt beer makes for a deadly combo

You have to remember that 1 out of 3 Democratic Voters is just as dumb as the other two.

Me too! But, for a different reason. Times were better than they are now.

As an American I'm growing tired of our ancestors being compared to the migrants of today.

Think about the collection of Winchesters a guy could have bought out of an old Sears catalog if you had 1k in the early 1900s.

I have a friend who has a Plymouth Superbird with the wedge.
He also has a Dodge Daytona with the wedge.

He also has a Plymouth Superbird convertable clone with the hemi. Plymouth never made the Superbird in a convertible. He made it out of a Roadrunner convertable with genuine Superbird nose and wing. He got all these cars and parts before the prices went crazy.

The original cars get trailered to shows. The convertable clone he drives.

I guarantee you'd only want that time machine for a limited time.
Back in the day work was actually work.
A modern convenience was an electric pop up toaster.
Trucks were loaded by 2 wheel carts or by hand.
In the summer of 1964, just out of high school, I was working at a grocer warehouse making $2.921/2 per hour. Union wages,
just

just making things real

Every time my father-in-law sees or hears about a Superbird, he just about cries. He bought a brand new one and less than a year later, traded it in on a station wagon.
