Hey Gary. Saw you pulling your boats. One trailer, three boats and you leave them in till the water gets hard. Do you cover up those boats in the winter to keep ice and snow out?
Tarps Maybe? They look too big and rigged out to flip.

Yeah we leave them in as long as we can. We don’t usually cover them but you gotta shovel the boat out come spring and brush snow off the cabins every once in a while. Some make a lean to setup with a large tarp over the top. Yeah I remember back in the 90s the old river boats would get flipped over because the melt and freeze in the spring can take a toll on a thin skinned river boat.

OK. Just curious. I get nervous in the winter with my boat sitting outside uncovered. Generally either put it in the shop or tie down a blue tarp over it and the motor. Waters no problem if it can drain out but I worry about ice forming and busting out the seams. And you guys get a LOT more ice and cold than I do. From the looks of it, you have a heavier duty rig than I have though.

At the start of the video you said you had permission to remove the bear. Why would you need permission?

I don’t really need permission to shoot the bears, but with permission I can do a bit more to ensure they are caught and put down. Where I am is on tribal private lands so anything inside of my tribes land is fair game. Thanks for asking
