I believe Oswald was supposed to be killed in the Depository. I think when the smoke cleared in Dealey Plaza, he realized he was set up, and split. Tippit may have been involved, and was sent to bring Oswald in. They possibly knew each other, if they both had been in contact with intelligence agents. Oswald may have known what was coming, and was just faster.

It looks very likely that Woody Harrelsons' dad was the actual assassin of Kennedy. He was a professional.killer for the Mafia. Oswald was Woody's mother's cousin. Woody's mother is Diane Lou Oswald.
