Do you have one of their credit cards? I got one for the discount. I use it just for bass pro/cabelas. Never had an issue. got it set up to where when it goes through I can just pay it from my checking account by clicking pay now.
I got a bass pro cc when I was about 18 for the discount. Dad had a forks or business week and brought it to me" isn't this the bank your cc is through?" Yes it was. They were sending bill out after the due date and charging $30 late fees according to the artical. Ok no big deal I alway pay off the balance when I charge something.
Untill I didn't. I bought a rife and scope and it put me just under my limit. I got a bill with 30$ lat fee and that put me over my limit giving me another 30$ over the limit fee. I checked the post mark yes sent out 3 days AFTER the due date.
I called them. The lady said all my charges were correct then I asked how I can get a late fee when they don't send out the bill tell after it's due. She made excuses, offered to remove all the charges, said she had never heard of that happening before. So I asker her how long and wide spread she would guess it would have to be before the magazine ( I gave her the name and month and who wrote the artical) would investigate and publish an artical on them doing just that, and I did not believe for a minute she had never heard of it happening before.
I asked if the would take a check by phone she said yes I paid it off and cut it up. I won't have a card wh we re I can't walk in and pay the bill ever again.
