When my daughter was shot she had just turned 18 they had all the covid restrictions in place and they only let one person go see her the entire time she was in the hospital and very limited days and times and with me and work that persion was my wife.
Now my daughter had no idea what to say or do about questions they asked on her treatment. Yet would not tell my wife and I a single thing since she was over 18. Let's just say it was a very frustrating mess and I recommend everyone get a powered of attorney set up for their kids when they turn 18. You never know what may happen and you need to be able to get info and make decisions.
I was fit to be tied and the hand cuffs got brought out but never put on. The cop was a good one and clearly understood my frustration.
Not being aloud with them is complete bs.
