 Very nice  thanks for sharing.     I was that city slicker  kid with a single anti  gun mom. I got into archery. Would get one of my grandparents  to give me a ride to my cousins  and he and I would walk from his house and hunt.  Never had anyone take us or teach us.   Killed my first several deer with a bow  starting at 13 siting in the fork of a tree.  Learned how to gut a deer by watching a VHS I rented from national video.
 
 My kids had it easy by comparison. But are better more knowledgeable  hunters  now at 11 and 13 than I was in  in my early 20s.
 
 I wish I had had someone  to take me under their wing and shorten the learning curve  like you are doing with him.      Great job and congratulations  to you both.  Great job.
