Yes, marinade with favorite seasoning and throw on the grill and cook until medium rare. Or just throw some butter in the skillet and brown on both sides. Don’t destroy a tenderloin by throwing it in a crock pot.

Slice into one inch pieces, soak in olive oil and black pepper for one hour.. grill over hottest fire possible for 45 seconds per side. Enjoy.

Such a shame to put it in a crock pot unless it was not dressed and cleaned properly. Ideally, it should be dry aged two weeks in a cooler.

Browned on both sides in a hot cast-iron skillet with butter, pink in the middle. Perfect.

This right here. The tenderloins don't even make it to the freezer.

Maybe dirt trapper is talking about the backstraps. A lot of guys confuse them with the tenderloins.

Neither one needs to go in a crockpot.

Yum! We call them “singe-ers “ just singe them brown on the outside and the edges and flip em! So many friends of mine changed their minds about game when they tasted them!

That’s even worse! Neither go in a crock pot. Both get grilled the same way. Cut a shoulder off and throw it in the crock pot, not the choice cuts of meat, lol.

Nothing wrong with crock potting any meat.
Always more tender then grilling/ frying.

swampgas chili and schmidt beer makes for a deadly combo

Deer filet mignon in a crockpot? Those 2 don't go together.

There is nothing more tender than tenderloin from a young doe seared for about 30 seconds per side on hot cast-iron.

I’m finished with my meal by the time your crockpot is even warmed up. Crockpotting tenderloin should be against the law.

Cut them in 1/2” slices and marinate in olive oil and Italian seasoning. Fry in a hot pan.

I’m about done with these new crockpots anyways. They don’t get hot enough to even actually cook. My mom got one for us for an anniversary present and it is garbage. I’d rather use my cast Dutch oven and braise a roast in the oven at 300 for 3 hours. Perfect. And I can sit and smell it all cooking!!! But only a roast. Tenderloin and back straps I slice and singe!!!
