Found these at Litchfield Illinois Walmart today they had quite a few Winchester and Federals 2 1/2 and 3 inch 6 and 71/2 shot . 19.72 for 3 inch and 14.92 for 21/2 inch. Said they haven’t had any for 3 years .

Now you did it . Thar poor store will be over run full of lure soaked stinky trappers. That store will likely quit selling ammo becuse of it.

I’ve always wanted a .410 shotgun maybe even a youth model for small game hunting. Side by side barrel would be nice but those are hard to find anymore. I have a JC Higgins (old sears roebuck) side by side 12 ga. But it gets heavy after a while!

Cz markets a hogalo(sp) double in 410 that look nice. Nearly had one follow me home fron cabelas but decided I don't want to pay for 410 ammo and just stick with 12 and 20g. It's cheaper

Edit I think they are/were around 800. I still buy 410 6 shot when I see it but it's x Mas for my wife's step grandpa that rabbit hunts with an old bolt action 410. So now I have to stop at Walmart and look for it after working another 16hr shift. Walking in now

None in the Newburgh indiana store, but they did have a box of 16g #6 that left with me. They also had 28g.

Think I will check the east side evansville store since it can be on my way and us 4 miles down the road

At the price I just paid for heavy load #6 in 20g and 16g loading shot shells may finally make $ince. $18 and change for the 20g and 15 for the 16g.


With a 410 it's a very smart move. Guess if I ever buy one I better figure in the cost of a press in with the gun. Had I thought about it at the time I may have bought that cz 410 double. I load rifle and pistol but shot guns never seemed cost effective with the limited amount of them I shoot. Untill now that is

Both Walmarts in St Cloud had them a week ago. They had 3" 6 and 7-1/2 shot and 2-1/2" 9 shot, maybe some others?

I did today two of them infact thanks to jalstat. Didn't find any 410 but two boxes of 16g #6 and 2 boxes of heavy load 20g# 6 came home with me.

I don't see 16g often and I have a nice old cheaper ranger 16g double I like to hunt with on occasion so grab it when I see it. And I have not seen 1 oz heavy load of #6 20g in a whole either and thelat franchi affinity 3 I bought my oldest boy needs heavy loads to Cycle.

To be fair, my wife gets a kick out of "people watching" there. She has made it perfectly clear, we don't need to shop there, but her curiosity gets the better of her if I need a book.LOL
