My pops used to have a 69 GTO. I remember him selling it when I was just a boy. A memory that helps me make the right decision when it's time to make a sacrifice for my families good. the grill and the Q-jet give it away as a '67 not sure about the "energy absorbing" steering column, don't remember if that was around in '66.
I had '69 and '65 GTO's and many other cool Pontiacs from the '60's. Was a big Pontiac guy for many years.

A buddy of mine had a GTO Judge I think a 70 or 71.
He let me drive it once in a while.It would pin you to the seatback when you floored it.

I sure miss my Super Bee. I never should have sold it even though it tried to kill me a few times.

Slacker why isn’t there a set of deuces under there so you can try and get them timed right.

I had a 69 goat , when I was a teenager ..
Speedometer needle would point straight down , between the "A" and "K" on brake light .
Well over 120 MPH ..

Miracle I survived that car ..
wish I had it back though..:-)

Here’s one I found in Sun City, Az.

My neighbor had a 70 gto with the 455 in it.took me for a ride when I was 14.got rubber in all 4 gears with it,few years later a classmate bought it as my neighbor wouldn't sell it to me.but did get to drive it when my classmate had it.ended up burning up in a garage fire.wonder what that car would be worth today.
