Already put it to use. In the Army if you lost something you had to tie it down to your person. We had a guy to went to take a nature break and one of our NCO’s stole his Mk19 out of the turret, I’ll never forget him going to chow with that thing tied to his belt. It became a team effort, but that’s a story for a different day.

Anyway, son lost his cell phone. He isn’t leaving the house without this one cabled off to his backpack. He should be happy I got the crimp tool or else I would have welded him a box out of 3/16 plate and had him tie it down with some #7 chain! I kid, sort of.

Now getting back to making cable extensions for my bobcat traps!

nice
how did you attach it to the case?

maybe a little heat shrink tubing over the ferrules

drawn blood more than once with the end of a cable that hung out a touch mad does that smart under a finger nail.

America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

One reason my kids don't have phones.

Yeah that’s a good idea with the heat shrink. I was thinking a dab of solder would take the sharp bristles off. This case didn’t have a lanyard attachment but it was easy to make one, drilled a couple holes in the plastic for the loop and then cut a small chunk of the rubber insert out for the cable to lay in.
