I’ve been a member since 2002. It was going strong before then. There have been a couple of crashes that wiped out everything and it had to start over.

wissmiss has it right. After several crashes we had to start over and much was lost.

I can remember the dial up internet days in the chat room…circa 1998…ish. Give or take a couple.

That’s what I was thinking beav, cotton and Chessie were always in there, we moved into our present house in 04 and positive I was on here at the old house.

I also remember the dial up days, and frequenting the chat room. Spent a lot of evenings after school on here back then, while listening to Napster/limewire and using aol instant messenger (AIM) with friends. The last big crash was late in 2006. Everybody had to re-register. Most guys who show a join date of December 2006 were members long before that, I was.

Beats the heck out of me. My membership says 2006 too.

I was on the otter something web site when that went down. Then got on here as 3110 was my number. I learned how to type with all my fingers because of this, but did not learn to spell!!!! I get those red marks all the time......jk

When I was first on here I still had a Microsoft computer and thats a loooong time ago. That thing crashed in a big way and it took my passwords etc with it to the grave. So I had to re register . But I have been on here for over 20 years. Seems like 19 sometimes.
