Greetings fellow weasel trappers,
In my ongoing efforts to address a weasel issue on my property, I've tried using liver, chicken, and fish as bait in my weasel boxes in the past. While these options have shown some success, I'm eager to explore new and unique bait options that might prove even more effective.
Have any of you experimented with unconventional or unique weasel baits in your weasel boxes? I'd love to hear about your experiences and any recommendations you may have.
Thanks a bunch for your time and expertise!

The rifle has no will of its own it may be used for evil but there are more good men than evil men and evil will be corrected by good men with rifles.

I don't have weasels to trap real close here but my buddy has used the back half of a mink and caught them.
In mink boxes I've had success in the snow with feathers or rabbit fur scatter in front of the box and the carcass inside.
How bout an old mouse nest?
Just some ideas

Dave D'Aigles' anise paste bait works good. I think Caven's carries it.
Just checked and they do. Sixteen dollars for a four ounce jar.

X2 In the off season I store my weasel boxes in an area with lots if rodents. Occasionally I will throw in some corn or bird seed to attract them. By fall they naturally smell of rodent urine and really don't need much for bait as it already has a natural attractant.

Common sense is a not a vegetable that does well in everyone's garden.

Use the weasel carcass after you skin it out, It's a good change up bait and it works well.

That's what I had good luck with using my beaver fleshed scraps.
So Biden didn't have to listen to SCOTUS about student loan forgiveness, but Trump has to obey a lower court judge on illegals aliens?

Nothing different to offer, just what i always use when i do set a few weasel boxes. An ordinary field mouse & a dab of weasel gland lure every time. Location is the key. Set places where tracks have been seen in the past
TILL THAT DAY.....
