Beautiful looking scenery up there newfox.

We're supposed to have a warm spells into the 50's for this weekend. It's got me chomping at the bit to put a few sets somewhere. So many things to do and so little time right now.
Called Miss Aalaiya to see if she was coming for a visit tomorrow but haven't heard back from her mother yet.
If she can come I'm sure she'll talk Papa into making a set with her somewhere. I did pick up one more spot but was told there was a trapper there at the beginning of season. Sometimes places like this are trapped out and sometimes not. Farmer never heard back from the guy and assumed he didn't catch anything. Looks like a new pair had just moved in this fall.

Nice kitty! Good deal. I always figure on some civets and cats as a bi-product of the beaver trapping.

So Gerry comes over this morning with a small beaver and says the other two are so big I can’t carry them, I need some assistance.

He wasn’t lying, took the jet sled and my knifes, just in case. I don’t know what they weigh, but they’re hoggs.

Pushing 60lbs I would say. Didn't look like you were gritting your teeth much for the pic until I saw that you had "help" holding those up. LOL

Nice cat mad. We have a season here but I've never caught one or seen one around my parts of the woods. Would love to trap them one day.

Newfox, you and Gerry got a couple fatties there. I'm jealous you got some snow. Light rain and 48° here today.

Got stuck today myself on an old farm road. Had to get the tractor and my buddy to get it out. Guess I won't be trapping those beaver soon. only access will be on the 4 wheeler. Told the Mrs. I was stepping out for a couple minutes to check on something down the road and it turned into an hour and a half lol. God bless her though, she just smiled and asked if I found a place to trap. I love that woman

He wanted nothing to do with beaver in a hole so I switched it up to squirrel in a hole.

Bobcats have really taken off in my area. The warden told me they generally tag 6-7 per warden a year and he tagged that many in the last week.

Top pick is a 67 pounder- not very long but plenty round.
Bottom pic shows 2 new members to the 750 club-the big yellow one cried like baby but is no worse for wear.

Cats seem to be going up in price too. The Russians have figured out how to get them into their country somehow I reckon.

John the castors were not above average, I’ll take a pic tomorrow if I remember.
BP the beaver from this location have been in good shape, those lean ones are tougher to put up for me.
