The east coast. Currently driving from NYC to DC and have never seen such a s-show. I don’t know how people do it.

I couldn't do it, either. Drove around the Baltimore, D.C area about 40 years ago. Hope that never happens again.

I live in Virginia Beach and drove to Maine to bear hunt years ago. DC, Baltimore, New Jersey Turnpike, New York City, Massachusetts!
Never again! If I ever have to go to Maine again, I'll drive to Ohio and take a right.

I said in a marina in Dundalk ( the bad part of Baltimore ) for 3 month to re wire a 53 Hatteras from a friend mine. We had both our boats there and when the missus took a shower at the marina restrooms, I was outside the door with an 870 casually draped over my arm. My best birthday present ever was when we got out of there that day never to return. You could hear an Ice cream truck driving around at 0200 in december and ya knew that guy was not selling ice cream at that dime of the day or year. Police never venture into that part of town either.

God bless the south. I couldn’t live up there with yall yanks. My wife made the comment once she wouldn’t mind seeing NYC once in her life. I informed her if she ever went I wouldn’t be there! There isn’t a dang thing I need to see up there. I don’t care for crowds or heavy traffic. Atlanta traffic is mild compared to what yall deal with up there but then again I hate Atlanta so that ought to tell you something.

We did, drove around in circles for an hour before we got back on track. Looking forward to the vast nothingness of home in a couple days!

The Jersey turnpike isn't all that bad, it's straight and you just need to know the exit numbers, closer to NYC the worse it can get at times.. the rest of the roads around and through the city are horrible, constantly busy or bumper to bumper, constant construction zones too, this is just to get through and around the place, the bridges are busy and confusing. You want to go INTO the city it's even worse. I live 80 miles east of that gomorrah and I wouldn't go there if I was being paid...a lot.

Going south through baltimore and DC is no picnic either, unless your traveling at 3 in the morning, that's the interstates, local traffic is a no no...at any time.

People say "why don't you leave?" ... cause you can't, lol

Same with Florida. Was there for two years and the only thing I'll miss is the gators.
