Hands to the quad or truck, was some long hauls this fall. It’s frozen enough now that I can quad up to the first dam. The other beaver factories have to wait until we get at least one blizzard, then I can’t take the snowmobile over and really get way back there
Wind Blew, crap flew, out came the line crew

Am I the only one that uses a pack basket? I know it limits me to one at a time usually but I make multiple trips if I need to. If there is snow and its not too brushy I use a sled.

I try to get to where I’m close to the atv or truck. If I’m too far I skin them on site and only walk fur and castors out. This ^.

Pack with a Tump line. Used to be able to pack out 5 beaver in younger days no problem. Today 3 is max I can handle,if trip is less than quarter mile or so,with a few rest stops. 2 is still no problem, A good big canoe pack with an nice wide tump strap makes it fairly easy

Forget that fear of gravity-get a little savagery in your life.

Personally, I never run a land line for beavers unless I have access to 3-4 Kalajari pygmies as packers.
My fear of moving stairs is escalating!

Tape a couple single edge razor blades with the protective covers together and keep them in your wallet (many uses) skin those beavers on the spot use the carcass for bait then for cats or yotes.
