Of course any big 10 fan doesn't want to look back. ( too many scandals and immoral behavior) Most can't see good enough to look back far enough to see their team in it.

But here's a CURRENT answer for you. Bama has been in the last 8 yes eight of the 10 years it was held. Heck the big 10 had a habit of not even scoring in either game. SOOO one year the big 10 got left out completely. What year was the SEC left out of the final four teams?????

Yes the Big 10 west has been weak for a while. IA was noted for the defense but that was absent as well. With those West Coast teams coming the talent pool will expand significantly and the type of offense will as well. There are nearly 60 million people living in just the 4 major states. A lot of NFL hall of fame athletes have come from that area. Those major schools from the west will now be part of a larger conference and a good record in the future will get them rated higher.

You realize it takes a brain to play at a Big Ten school right. Eligibility for the NCAA is a 2.0 GPA. Most Big Ten schools carry a higher standard for eligibility. Refresh my memory..... didn't a Big Ten school take down your prized Tide. players need to get used to the Tide part cause those that don't make the NFL are going to be familiar with the Brand
