Why would ammo only go up 12%, when everything else has gone up more than 12%?

because its already jumped 25 percent and more and its obviously part of the design to try to disarm the people. The list goes on. Well it's working......... on my end at least. Just dumped 2 beloved 270 short mags because I refuse to pay $71 per box for ammo IF you can even find what I shoot. Took the money I got from those and got about 30 boxes of 308. No interest in reloading, got enough bad habits. I'm good with that.

In all reality some ammo is down from what it was for a while. It is still high, but nothing like it was. The odd ball calibers are still high, but common ammo has come down from what it was for a while. Powder is down too.

It was the only box he had and he couldn't get more.

If you want cheaper ammo you have to look for it. Chances are it is not going to be at the Mom and Pop store down the street. I sold a fair amount of powder for $50 a pound and now I have very little interest at $35. My selection is not as good as it was, but I have a better selection of ammo now. I buy and resell at gun show. 32 Win is an odd ball to me.

I paid 300 bucks for 3 pounds of powder and a 1000 large rifle primers when tax shipping and hazmat was added in. 2 of those pounds were 50 each and not easy to find. its already bad. 2 bucks a round for common deer rifle stuff.

If you buy a pound of of H4831 and load 57 grains a pound of powder will load 120 rounds. So 72 bucks for bullets if you load the sierras. 13 cents per primer so 16 bucks for primers. Midway has brass at 60 cents plus shipping and tax say 75 cents. 90 bucks. Maybe you dont order powder and its 50 bucks. So 228 for 122 rounds if you buy brass or a buck 90 per shot. Maybe 2 bucks if you buy primers and powder and pay shipping.
Even if you dont need brass that is ridiculously high.
